Hello. I was reviewing our handbook recently and I specifically looked up our policies on solar rooftop panels and noted that there is only one: that they are not allowed. Could we have some discussion on this? Is the concern... liability of some kind? Since the townhouses have connected roofs? Is there a concern about the houses not being able to handle the equipment that goes inside the house (to regulate the power of the panels, etc)?  Has this policy been updated recently to match new advances with solar panels? Maybe its not the case anymore that the equipment is bulky or a poor fit for these homes.  I would like to see a bit of discussion about this.   Can we revisit the policy? Take a look at what new tech is out there and give homeowners more choices in how they power their homes?

Hi there! I live near the tennis court and recently some of the pavement to the left of the court was buried (I think this was because of a policy that says that if the community creates new blacktop in one area it has to remove blacktop in another, but I am uncertain of this).  I was wondering if it would be possible to fill in the newly cleared area with trees, and when the remainder of the blacktop is removed for some future project, to fill in that area with trees as well.  If this is not possible, could someone tell me why? (For example is there policy that states that there must be X amount of open area near the common areas, etc?) Also can residents have any say in what types of trees are planted anywhere in the community?
