Last week, many owners and tenants received an email with login credentials to NRP's new portal for owners called Vantaca. All owners and tenants are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to visit this portal and utilize all of its many features!
Residents are able to submit and track work orders, make their payments, view Association calendar events, read community broadcast emails, submit ACC applications, monitor and track violations, and view Association documents all in one easy to use place!
Please use the credentials you received last week to access https://portal.NRPartnersLLC.com and click LOGIN (do not click Sign Up).
**If you did not receive login credentials, you can submit a request by logging onto the portal then clicking LOGIN from the main portal screen. Then click SIGN UP and enter your basic information (name, address, etc.). Your login request will be sent to NRP for verification and you will receive your login credentials shortly thereafter.**
Effective immediately the community tot lots and common areas are closed so as to prevent social gatherings.
Virginia Governor, Ralph Northam, announced a stay-at-home order for Virginians on Monday (3/30/2020) that takes effect immediately. This order requires people to stay home except for limited circumstances, such as traveling to or from work, seeking medical attention, obtaining goods and services, including food, or engaging in outdoor activity.
This order includes prohibiting all public and private in-person gatherings of more than ten people. This includes parties, celebrations, religious or other social events, whether they occur indoors or outdoors.
Please note that American Disposal Services will continue to perform all regularly scheduled household waste, recycling and yard debris services as normal. The notice below is only for bulk items.
***IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM AMERICAN DISPOSAL: COVID-19 - Bulk Items - Temporarily Suspended effective Monday, March 23, 2020***
Due to the growing concerns of the COVID-19 virus, ADS is temporarily suspending the collection of all bulk items.
Effective immediately, all residential curbside and enclosure bulk removal will be temporarily suspended until further notice. While we understand this may be an inconvenience, we feel it’s in the best interest of our employees and customers to limit any possibility of exposure to this virus. American Disposal Services will continue to perform all regularly scheduled household waste, recycling and yard debris services as normal.

On March 11, 2020, the Association attempted to hold the 2020 Annual Meeting but unfortunately did not achieve the required quorum of 44 residents in person or by proxy.
With the rapid spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus, the recommendation for social distancing, and the National recommendation to keep groups to smaller than 10 people, the Board will not hold a second attempt for the Annual Meeting.
The two current Board Members will carry over their term for another year until the next Annual Meeting.
If you can't attend please complete the proxy form provided in the mailer so the meeting can be held and business can be conducted. Return via email by sending to MBaquero@NRPartnersLLC.com.

The Tartan Village 2020 Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2020. All owners received the notice mailer which includes a proxy form if you not be able to attend.
In order to hold the 2020 Annual Meeting at least (44) or 1/10 of the Homeowners must attend in person or by proxy. If you cannot attend, please complete the proxy form and return via email to MBaquero@NRPartnersLLC.com, via fax to 703-689-0949. You may also give your proxy to a neighbor that is attending the meeting.

As a reminder, NRP will be closed at 1:00 pm on 12/24 and will reopen at 8:30 am on 12/26/19, and will be closed at 1:00 pm on 12/31 and will reopen at 8:30 am on 1/2/20.

Happy Holidays! As we all enter the busy Holiday season, we would like to remind you of the upcoming collection schedule and inclement weather policies.
Yard Debris: We would like to remind you of our policies on yard debris collection. Please keep in mind, during our heavier leaf period, we will exercise our 10 bag / 10 bundle rule if needed. Grass clippings and leaves need to be placed in compostable yard waste bags. Personal cans may be used, however they need to be marked “Yard Debris”. Tree limbs and brush must be no longer than 4-5 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. These items must be tied with rope or twine in arm length bundles. The seasons are quickly changing and overnight temperatures are now reaching freezing. Now is the time to take precautions to prevent winter damage to your unit, common areas and neighbors.
Have fall/winter preventative maintenance performed on your HVAC system to ensure it is in proper working order.
Turn on utility room heaters, if present. This is especially important for condominium units with sprinklers and water pipes on balconies and water heaters in utility rooms on balconies. Set these heaters to a mid-range temperature and check regularly during the winter season to ensure they are properly functioning.
Open cabinets under sinks during cold spells to allow warm air to get to the pipes.
During severe cold spells, allow faucets to drip to ensure water in the lines do not freeze.
